Batista Speaks Out - Leaving WWE, PG Area & Mor...

AppId is over the quota
The UK Sun recently interviewed former WWE star Batista, here are the highlights...

On Leaving WWE: "The reason I left was the PG direction the company took, it got too corny for me. I was a hug fan of the edgy era of DX, Stone Cold Steve Austin and those guys. The change in direction really ruined it for me. It's well recorded I'm not a fan of the likes of John Cena or The Miz. It's such a different company these days and not in a good way."

On Being Offered a Job on Tough Enough: "I've no plans to return anytime soon. I was offered the job of working on Tough Enough, I just didn't think it was for me. I hear it went well with Steve Austin and good luck to them. I need to be excited by a project and I didn't feel that way about Tough Enough."

On a Possible Return: "If I did return to the WWE, it would be for a run not just a one-shot deal. I'd have to be a constant for them not someone who drifts in and out to boost ratings. If I did I'd love to work with Triple H again or Undertaker. They are the best workers there in my opinion and they'd make it worthwhile to return. The show would have to change though, so I can't see my return being anytime soon can you?

Would he Wrestle Anywhere Else?: "For me, the WWE is the number one wrestling organization. I'd hate to end my career somewhere that's a step down. If I go out, I go out on top and working for the company on top."

Batista Discusses WWE Return, Why He Left, Turning Down "Tough Enough" & More

AppId is over the quota AppId is over the quota

Source: The Sun

Former WWE Superstar Batista recently spoke with The Sun. Here are some highlights:

Why he left WWE: "The reason I left was the PG direction the company took, it got too corny for me. I was a hug fan of the edgy era of DX, Stone Cold Steve Austin and those guys. The change in direction really ruined it for me. It's well recorded I'm not a fan of the likes of John Cena or The Miz. It's such a different company these days and not in a good way."

Turning down Tough Enough: "I've no plans to return anytime soon. I was offered the job of working on Tough Enough, I just didn't think it was for me. I hear it went well with Steve Austin and good luck to them. I need to be excited by a project and I didn't feel that way about Tough Enough."

Returning to WWE: "If I did return to the WWE, it would be for a run not just a one-shot deal. I'd have to be a constant for them not someone who drifts in and out to boost ratings. If I did I'd love to work with Triple H again or Undertaker. They are the best workers there in my opinion and they'd make it worthwhile to return. The show would have to change though, so I can't see my return being anytime soon can you?"

C.M. Punk Discusses What The "CM" Represents

AppId is over the quota AppId is over the quota Recently, WWE champion C.M. Punk was interviewed by Real Milwaukee promoting WWE's Elimination Chamber PPV. During the interview, Punk discussed the origins of "C.M."

"It's a long story," Punk stated. "You don't really get to choose your career path, so to speak, when you start in wrestling. Me and a friend of mine were the 'Chick Magnets'. People are going to make a big deal out of me saying that, too. 'Oh. That's what it finally means.' No. It means a lot of things. It means 'Chicago Made'. It means, 'Championship Material.' You know... 'Chuck Mosley'. All sorts of stuff."

Punk was later asked which wrestler he would most want t face; past, present or future. The man that came to mind immediately for Punk was WWE Hall of Famer, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

"[It's] a no-brainer. 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. ... Do I think [I'd come out a winner]? Yeah. I absolutely, positively know I'd come out a winner in that. Steve's an actor now," C.M. Punk jabbed.

"Steve in his prime? I haven't even hit my prime yet. I'm scared thinking about me in my prime. I'm scared for Steven, actually," Punk stated.

John Cena vs Kane

Kane fights off further advances from Cena and goes to open the door of the ambulance. A stretcher rolls out of the back of the ambulance and Kane attempts to throw Cena in. Cena blocks the move and attacks Kane with the medical equipment.

The match moves back towards the ring and Cena throws Kane shoulder first into the ring steps. Kane recovers and starts to pummel Cena as the two get back into the ring.

Cena tries to mount a comeback, but Kane drops him with a sidewalk slam. Kane goes to the top rope for a flying clothesline, but Cena dropkicks him in mid-air and goes into his signature offense.

Cena successfully hits Kane with the 5-Knuckle Shuffle and puts Kane into position for the Attitude Adjustment, but Kane counters and starts to suffocate Cena with his hand. Cena passes out, and Kane drags him out of the ring. Kane pulls a wheelchair from under the ring and starts to roll Cena up the ramp.

Cena fights his way out of the wheelchair as Kane attempts to suffocate Cena once again. Cena takes control of the match, smashing Kane into the side of the ambulance with the folded up wheelchair. Cena then placed Kane into the wheelchair and rolled him into an equipment table.

Kane gets up and starts to attack Cena with equipment until Cena hits Kane in his midsection with a steel chair. Kane and Cena continued to trade offense as they moved through the crowd.

Cena throws Kane over the security barricade, grabs a mic and asks Booker T if he's in the Fave Five. Booker confirms, and Cena grabs a monitor and slams it into Kane's face. He does the same with a set of steel steps.

Cena then sets up the steel steps in front of the Spanish announce table with Kane on his shoulders for the Attitude Adjustment. Kane counters and chokeslams Cena through the table.

Kane gets the stretcher and brings it to ringside. He places Cena on top of it, and rolls it to the ambulance. Kane puts Cena into the ambulance, closes one door, but Cena gets out before he can close the other. Cena attacks Kane and then climbs to the top of the ambulance. Cena calls for Kane to follow him, and he does.

Kane attempts the chokeslam, but Cena counters and hits Kane with the Attitude Adjustment from on top of the ambulance.

Cena gets down, puts Kane on his shoulders, and successfully places Kane into the back of the ambulance.

Winner: John Cena

Cena gets into the ring and celebrates by pointing at the WrestleMania 28 sign. He then looks at the camera and says "One man left. I'll be waiting"
