WWE Names Another Hall Of Fame Inductee, The Rock Previews Rock Concert, PWI On Twitter

One of the most influential masked wrestlers of all time, Mexican lucha libre legend Mil Mascaras is the latest name announced for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2012.

Mascaras was announced as a Hall of Fame inductee when WWE was in Mexico City, Mexico last October, but not acknowledged on WWE.com until today. His video can be seen here.

-- Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson wrote a message on Twitter regarding tonight's Rock Concert on Raw SuperShow.

"Cleveland. RAW. 100% sold out. Team Bring It - time to have some fun. #RockConcert," he wrote, along with a photo of a guitar and his "Boots 2 Asses" T-shirt.

WWE Smackdown results: Six-Man Tag, Sheamus/Bryan, Long/Laurinaitis, Kane and Orton

We get in time for March 15 spoilers episode of Impact Wrestling that was recorded last Wednesday night in Orlando. Behold, by Eric:

** First they record March 8 main event saw Garrett Bischoff and Jeff Hardy defeated Kurt Angle and the gunner.

After the game, Young and ODB celebrated until he dropped to a knee and asked her hand in marriage. ODB said yes and they celebrated the most.

** Ion distinctive bat Austin Aries by DQ with the TNA X Division title on the line.

** Bully Ray out and cut a promo on James Storm. Ray calls Sting to make him the # 1 Challenger. Sting, gives him a match with Bobby Roode.

** Roode and Ray went to a no.-Contest in a non-title match. James Storm missed during the match and forced Ray to the back. Storm hit Last Call on Roode twice at the end of the segment.

** Crimson and Matt Morgan beats Robbie E and Rob Terry to become the new contenders # 1 for the TNA Tag Team Titles. Crimson and Morgan had words after the match.

** AJ Styles broke out and spoke of 10 anniversary TNA soon. Daniels and Kazarian out eventually and they speak for what seems forever. Mr. Anderson made his return and the attacks of Kaz and Daniels. Anderson and AJ standing Daniels and Kaz run off tot he.

** Garrett Bischoff and Jeff Hardy fighting Kurt Angle and the gunner.

Legendary actor on WWE Legends House, female host Possible and more

Renamed for Adam West of Batman actor posted a photo of himself with WWE Legends House cast. Apparently West turned a few sequences of the issuance of this week in California.

The photo shows Jimmy Hart, Roddy Piper, Gene Okerlund, Howard Finkel, Hillbilly Jim, Pat Patterson, Tony Atlas and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. The photo shows also singer Ashley Roberts of the p - ycat dolls. It is assumed that Ashley can accommodate the show.

Another celebrity linked to the show is actor Jeff Dye of money from MTV show foreign. No word yet on dyeing fits in, but it was the home of video filming this week.

-According to Silvervison, the sets of DVD rumours "Best of WWE 1985-2004" is not expected to be published this year and was only a project discussed in the WWE.

-Rock recently purchased a 3.45 million, the Manor of 13 154 square feet in Southwest Ranches, Florida. The House has five bedrooms, seven baths, a swimming pool, a home theater and more.

Edge Talks HOF Induction, Cena Vs. Rock, Wrestlers Being Bumped Because Of Rock, More

2012 WWE Hall of Fame inductee Edge joined Busted Open with Dave Lagreca and Doug Mortman. You can hear Busted Open from 2-4 ET on Sirius 94, XM 208, and Sportszone 860 on the internet. Here are some highlights:

On being inducted into the Hall of Fame: "It's kind of surreal. I was kind of expecting to be like ok in a few years or like you said if it's in Toronto, or Vancouver, or Montreal. I was fully expecting that too. I got the phone call and I was like "this year? Really?" Ok, I'm not going to turn it down. It's an honor. It's humbling, it really is. I didn't expect it. Number one, last year performing on it, had a year left on my deal, I thought this was the year I was going to retire. So it really sped the process up a year. If you had asked me when I was seventeen just breaking into the business, 'ok you're going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame the same year as the Four Horsemen, at the age of thirty-eight'. It's pretty surreal."

His favorite Wrestlemania memories: "My favorite moment was against The Undertaker. Just kind of walking down the aisle and just seeing him stand there, that might have been my favorite. I was like 'alright I'm ready, let's go'. So that and standing on top of a table when Christian and I first won the tag team titles was pretty big. If you had known us all the way through, you would understand how big that was for us. I mean they are all pretty massive and things that stand out, except for maybe the shampoo commercial with Booker T, which thankfully happened in my hometown of Toronto."

Vickie Guerrero: "I feel like a proud papa because when we first started doing our thing she was this timid general manager who wore a business suit and it really brought her out of her shell. She said I helped her along with that process. She kind of fed off my sleaziness on the screen. It was fun to watch this raging beast grow into the 'excuse me' phenomenon that it became. Man we would get out there and I couldn't hear her talk because it would be so loud and inside I would be like 'Good for you Vick, this is awesome, I created a monster.' I was like Dr Frankenstein watching the Bride of Frankenstein come off the bed.

John Cena and The Rock: "The worst thing is apathy and there is definitely not that. So I think a lot of it too, is John is kind of handcuffed. It's like there needs to be that guy and he is that guy. So it's like you want me to be this guy, then I'm going to be that guy and I'm going to do it with total commitment and do it, and if you don't like it then that's what I got to do. I think that's where it's kind of at. I think there is a lot more riding on it than just half the crowd in Portland reacting a certain way. You have to look at it from Vince's (McMahon) perspective, which no one seems to do anymore. Whether it's guys sweating Rock coming back. I'm like are you kidding me? It's great. I think it's awesome. If you get bumped off Wrestlemania because of The Rock, guess what? You weren't good enough. It's up to you to stay on the show."

What this year has been like for him not wrestling: "Not as tough as most people would assume it was. I had been mentally preparing myself for it anyway. I always gave what I had in the ring, but I was slowly going ok I'm going to start preparing for life after the fact. Because I could feel the limitations my body started to put on. So it was more of a shock to everyone else than to me. It really sped the process up. I knew how I felt after matches and something was off neck wise. I was like I better start wrapping my mind around this pretty quick because I have a feeling it's going to be within this next year and it was within two months. So it just sped it up."

When he knew about the neck injury: "I had no idea Wrestlemania last year was going to be my last match. We really assumed it was going to be possibly this year that I would be retiring. Going forward I was like we will figure this out, we will get it to Del Rio and do it in the ladder match and then maybe I will take a couple of months break, let everything rest up, come back and finish up. It didn't end up that way. We got additional MRI's the Monday after and they went 'Whoa! You got no choice in the matter here. We're shutting you down.' When they told me what the MRI's look like, the doctor was like 'this is the worst neck X-Ray currently competing in contact sports. You are done.' But we didn't know that and thankfully we caught it. I don't know when it started, obviously it's a gradual process, but I had neck surgery in '03, so if I really wanted to call it a day, I guess that could have been it. But I still had too much to do and I wanted to get it done. So I can look back without any regrets."

** SmackDown opens with a steel cage match for the Championship of the United States, as Santino Marella defended against Jack Swagger. Santino Marella defeated Jack Swagger after Vickie Guererro accidentally breakdown the door of the cage on the head of Swagger, for Marella to climb the cage to win.

** Backstage Teddy Long request John Laurinaitis to call the match between Kane and Aksana. Laurinaitis announces that he will face from long tonight to determine whether or not the game is going.

** Drew McIntyre came and John Laurinaitis said that he could get his job if he wins tonight. The Great Khali is out, but David Otunga told him to take a seat and replaced him by Hornswoggle, who is beaten by McIntyre. After the match, Khali McIntyre of nails with a chop and help Hornswoggle.

** Mark Henry defeated Ezekiel Jackson in a rapid match.

** John Laurinaitis vs. Teddy Long is then. Sticky and Laurinaitis are ridiculous, it looks like a ballerina. Kane came out, but Randy Orton have been exhausted and hit Kane with a RKO outside the ring. Long Laurinaitis then covered for victory.

** Kofi Kingston and R-Truth beat WWE Tag Team Champions Primo and Epico in a non-title match.

** Michael Cole interviewed Daniel Bryan and Sheamus.

** Main-event: The Big Show, Randy Orton and Sheamus beat Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes and the Miz after Orton nailed Miz with an RKO to get the win. Kane and Orton were after the match, ending with Orton plantation Kane with an RKO to send happy fans.

World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan spoke with BooLawler.com before the records of WWE SmackDown last night. Bryan was asked about the next big star and spoke at the FCW star Dean Ambrose, the former Jon Moxley.

"It's hard to say, because it y now, on our list of so many talented guys", said Bryan. "But there are guys in the development which are absolutely phenomenal system." My favorite is a guy named Dean Ambrose, who has just a personality and it is so good in the ring. It has not yet begun on TV yet, but when it does, I think it's really going to take people by surprise. KHARMA is not her baby, Foundation Plans start

It is sad to announce that WWE Diva Kia "Kharma" Stevens were not delivered his son on 31 December, despite what she said friends, according to a new article from TMZ. Said KHARMA website that her baby died before she was able to give birth.

KHARMA told TMZ that she lied to the departure of friends of the child being in good health because it was incredibly emotional and fear to tell the public the truth after the announcement of her pregnancy on WWE TV.

KHARMA is planning on starting a foundation for women who have experienced the same tragedy.

-WWE Hall of Famer Sunny noted that it will present to the WWE Hall of Fame and WrestleMania 28 this year. Sunny is now taking bookings until the end of the year by Nick platinumentertainment44@hotmail.com.

-As yesterday, former WWE Diva Angela Fong "Savannah" works in collaboration with THQ doing motion capture for the WWE video game 13 coming later this year. She revealed on Twitter that the former WWE star David Hart Smith also works with her on the set.

A couple of girls rose to leave to go to prepare for the show and some big fat white guy came from nowhere and I saw it distribution business for young girls cards. »

Punk then and said that the man distributing the Merriman Manager or advertising business cards. Punk said Gail Kim got leave and Merriman continued his. Punk told a story to watch the uncomfortable situation where Gail was trying to bypass Merriman and avoid him.

- Musician and independent wrestling promoter Billy Corgan will be appearing on Chris Jericho's Rock of Jericho satellite radio show next weekend.

- Former tag team partners Antonio Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli) and Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) faced off for the first time in WWE developmental at last Thursday's FCW show in Kissimmee, Florida. They competed in a Triple Threat with Bo Rotundo. Cesaro got the pin on Ohno.

- WWE Champion CM Punk is doing media appearances for tonight's RAW and filming for his new WWE DVD today. He wrote on Twitter:

A number of people within WWE believe that Brian Kendrick will be returning to the company later this year to be involved in the new Cruiserweights project on the WWE Network.

Kendrick was recently released from TNA after being signed to a series of short-term contracts. Kendrick said on his Facebook page this week that he was released after asking to be let go. Kendrick said he wanted more work but TNA wouldn't give it to him.

Kendrick told the Lowdown Unlimited show this past week that he has kicked the marijuana habit and is open to working for WWE again.

Journey's Box Office Success, Stanford Comments On Borash, Ryder, More

- BoxOfficeMojo.com reports that Journey 2 with The Rock dropped to #6 at the box office domestically, doing an estimated $6.93 million in its 4th weekend. The film has grossed $85.61 million domestically and $270 million total.

- As noted yesterday, WWE announcer Scott Stanford took a shot at TNA's Jeremy Borash by wondering who Borash is on his Twitter. Stanford later wrote, "Im sure Jeremy is better than me in whatever he does.. I dont know who he is or what he does! I know he cant out rap me!! Apparently my not knowing who someone on a tv show has caused a little stir. I dont know who this season's Bachelor is either!! Whoops"

- Zack Ryder will be coming out with action figures for his Z! True Long Island Story show soon.

- WWE has re-released the Undertaker My Yard t-shirt, the retro Triple H logo t-shirt and the retro Shawn Michaels cross t-shirt.

- I'm anticipating some interesting 'competition' Monday night on Raw as the show stealer, Shawn Michaels, returns to live TV to, apparently, address HHH regarding HIAC at WM28. Point being is that last week's Raw ended with the memorable verbal confrontation between Rock and John Cena and knowing how much HHH and HBK enjoy main event status, who will stand out the most in Boston?

- What do you make of the Shawn Merriman twitter war with CM Punk? If Merriman's NFL career is on the ropes it's likely a way of garnering attention for the talented albeit controversial athlete. Perhaps Merriman is looking for a WWE career.

- Why are so many young wrestlers so 'cookie cutter?' Likely many reasons...a lack of 'it'...not enough confidence in their own abilities to take needed chances...no viable, weekly territories to help them develop the needed 5 or so years. Or, it could be how they are coached or respond to their coaching. It could be many things or combinations of factors. I happen to think that FCW has some outstanding prospects currently in training and how they respond and adapt when they are called up remains to be seen.

NFL Player Trashes CM Punk Over Twitter

 Buffalo Bill's linebacker Shawne Merriman posted the following on his Twitter account:

"F--- C.M. Punk, he's still a punk forever in my book. I'm sure my supporters feel the same way... And WWE, I ain't hosting y'all new network until somebody whoop C.M. Punk cuz he's a p$ssy.

"Serious, who the f--- is C.M. Punk other than a soft butt...wrestling gone soft f off... If god is my witness, C.M. Punk was wearing a thong laying by the pool tanning his cheeks in Costa Rica, now tell me I'm lying... C.M. Punk wants no part of Lights, trust me...

"And WWE, I ain't hoting sh#t until C.M. is dethroned... I ain't a hater at all, but if you like dudes tanning by the pool (in) a thong that's cool. I think he had pillows under his stomach."

Merriman and Punk have issues in the past over Twitter, which began when Punk called him out for failing an attempt to pick up one of the Divas when WWE was touring Costa Rica.

Merriman is also admittedly Chris Brown's friend, so one would assume Merriman's latest comments might have been fueled by Punk and Brown's recent Twitter war.

ROH TV Results (3/3): #1 Contenders Match, Strong Vs Edwards

-The show opens with highlights of last week's TV main event between Jay Lethal and Davey Richards for the ROH World title, which saw Richards win when he connected with a roundhouse kick to Lethal when Lethal was bumped from the outside by Adam Cole.

-Promo for the upcoming match between Mike Bennett and TJ Perkins. Bennett focuses on his match with Lance Storm on March 30th at Showdown in the Sun, and Perkins comments on how Bennett better not overlook him tonight.

-TJ Perkins vs. "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett w/Brutal Bob Evans and Maria

The opening match of the night saw many near fall attempts traded between Bennett and Perkins. Ultimately, the match came to a conclusion when TJ Perkins reversed the "Box Office Smash" from Bennett into an S.T.F., Perkins relinquished the hold when Bennett grabbed hold of Maria's hand from outside of the ring. The momentary distraction led to Mike Bennett hitting the "Box Office Smash" for the pin.

Winner: "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett

-Tommaso Ciampa with Embassy Limited cut a promo backstage. Ciampa says that he will beat Lethal on Sunday March 4th for the TV title and he will be the only undefeated champion in ROH history.

-Tommaso Ciampa w/Embassy Limited vs. Guy Alexander
Squash match for Ciampa. Ciampa would finish off the local wrestler with repeated knee strikes to the head, leading to Alexander being knocked out and the referee stopping the match.

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa

#1 Contenders Match: Roderick Strong w/Truth Martini vs. Eddie Edwards

-High impact main event between Strong and Edwards for a shot at Davey Richards World Title. Multiple near falls from these two former ROH World title holders, with both men hitting big moves only to have the other find a way to kick out. The end came when Edwards ascended to the top rope, but was grabbed by Truth Martini on the foot, leading to Adam Cole to come out to ringside and kick Martini. Michael Elgin then comes out to help Martini. Edwards hits a tackle on the outside, which allows Strong to attach a foreign object to his boot and hit an unsuspecting Edwards with a "sick kick" for the pin. The first referee, Todd Sinclair, didn't see what Strong had done, so another referee comes out and orders that the match be restarted. As the two referees argue about the decision, Edwards hits "Die Hard", knocking over Todd Sinclair in the process. The second referee counts the pin for Edwards and declares him the winner. The referees continue to argue about the decision as we go to commercial not knowing who the number one contender is.

Due to the match ending without a clear winner Jim Cornette comes out after the commercial and decides that both Strong and Edwards are the number one contenders for Davey Richards ROH World Championship, the match will be a triple threat match at Showdown in the Sun.

WWE Live Event Results From Bangor, ME (3/4) - Punk Defends, Brodus Clay & Xavier Woods In Action

Match 1: Brodus Clay defeat Michael McGillicutty in the opening match with a T-Bone Suplex follow by a splash off the ropes.

Match 2: Eve comes and out says she is sorry for her recent behavior and invites Kelly Kelly to be her partner against the Bella Twins. Towards the end of the match, Kelly goes for the hot tag and Eve walks out on her. Kelly wins the match anyway after getting a roll up on Nikki Bella.

Match 3: US Title Match - Jack Swagger (c) vs Mason Ryan: Mason got a large pop, to my surprise. Good back and forth match. Towards the end, Swagger gave Ryan a spear to the knee and then rolled him into the ankle lock for the win.

Match 4: Curt Hawkins vs Xavier Woods: For not knowing who Woods was, he got a decent reaction. Woods got the win with a flying knee.

Match 5: Jericho's music hits. He cut a promo about being the best in the world, etc. Kofi Kingston's music hits and their match is next. Great match. A couple of false finishes. Finish came with Jericho poked Kofi in the eyes and then hit him with the Codebreaker for the win.

Intermission

Match 6: WWE Tag Team Titles - Primo and Epico (c) defeated R-Truth and Santino Marella.

Match 7: Falls Count Any Match - John Cena vs Kane: Cena received a deafening pop when he came out. Cena won after giving Kane a AA through a table.

Match 8: WWE Championship - CM Punk (c) vs Dolph Ziggler with Chris Jericho as special enforcer: After a couple of false finishes and a ref bump, Punk defeated Ziggler and the crowd goes home happy. Punk celebrated in the crowd afterwards, allowing fans to take pictures with him.

WWE Live Event Results From Macon, GA (3/4) - Bryan Defends, Henry Vs. Sheamus

Just got home from the SmackDown live event in Macon, Ga. We got to the show about an hour before it started, and they were already seating people. Most of the the merchandise was only available in larger sizes, even the Cena stuff which disappointed some of the kids. We were 3rd row from the ring on the right side which was great. I would say the show may have been half full at best, which isn't saying much seeing as how the venue was very small to begin with. Tony Chimmel comes out and the show begins.

First match saw The Great Khali defeat Jinder Mahal in a short match that saw Mahal mount very little offense. Khali wasn't moving around well which had me wondering why they continue to have him wrestle.

Second match started off with Drew McIntyre cutting a promo proclaiming his lawyers had found a loop hole, and with a victory tonight he could have his job back. Tony Chimmel announces his opponent, who is Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose as announced) which was a great surprise. McIntyre does good heel work by continuing to ask the crowd and Moxley, "Who is this guy?" Moxley gets the clean win in a decent back and forth match. Moxley looked very good in the ring, though the crowd couldn't get into the match due to not knowing who he was.

Third match started off with Hunico and Camacho cut a promo in Spanish leading to Dibiase coming out and getting a cheap pop from the crowd by playing up his southern upbringing. Not a very good match, though the crowd was very into it. Dibiase won with a roll up after being worked over the majority of the match. Post match saw Dibiase celebrate for a short period only to be attacked from behind by Cody Rhodes, leading to a 3 man beat down on Ted. Cody grabbed a mic and did great heel work by making fun of the people in attendance.

Fourth match was a triple threat featuring Daniel Bryan, Big Show, and Randy Orton. Didn't understand why the match was on so early, unless they are all booked for Raw. Bryan did excellent heel work by ripping up little kids' Randy Orton and Big Show signs. On a funny side note, he nearly drove an elderly man to a heart attack by proclaiming to be the World Heavyweight Champion, and shouting yes repeatedly at the man. Decent match, not very long. Orton stayed outside most of the match, only running in to hit his signature moves. Big Show had his ribs taped and kept grasping and them, looked to be legitimately hurt. Finish saw Orton hit Show with an RKO, then Bryan throwing Orton out and scoring the pinfall. After the match, Bryan proceeded with his over the top celebration only to have Show and Orton hit their finishers on him to keep the crowd happy. This lead to a brief intermission.

Fifth match was a Diva's tag match. Beth and Natalya defeated Alicia Fox and Tamina Snuka in a surprisingly decent and technical (yes, I just typed that) match. Alicia Fox did very well, which was even more surprising to me. Finish had Tamina miss the body splash from the top and Beth hit the Glam Slam. I was very surprised to see the girls do so well after watching them do horrible on TV. Leads me to believe they're either told to not do anything, or they just don't care at TV.

Sixth match had Cody Rhodes come out and continue to berate the fans in attendance, which was absolutely hilarious. Justin Gabriel came out to challenge him for the title. Rhodes got the clean win in a pretty good match that should have been given more time. After the match, Dibiase came out to return the beatdown given to him by Rhodes earlier. Gabriel hit Rhodes with the 450 splash to satisfy the fans chanting to see the move.

Main event was Mark Henry and Sheamus in a Street Fight. Mark Henry took a kids sign and ripped it to shreds, which I found funny due to the expression on the kids face following the incident. Decent match with both men fighting to keep the crowd into the match. Sheamus wins, sending all the kids home happy.

Overall it was a pretty good show with a pretty lively crowd. Biggest pops went to Orton and Sheamus, with the most heat going to Rhodes and Bryan.

WWE Officials Re-Write SmackDown, More From Carlito On WrestleMania & The Rock

- Over the weekend, WWE officials were re-writing this week's SmackDown after realizing that it will go head-to-head with the debut of the new season of UFC's Ultimate Fighter. The two shows will go head-to-head this Friday and again on June 1st for the TUF finals.

- As noted last week, former WWE Superstar Carlito defended The Rock against backstage heat and said the WWE talents should be happy that The Rock is making WrestleMania a success. Carlito wondered if any other WWE stars could sell out WrestleMania besides The Rock. Carlito later added the following, throwing in a joke about CM Punk:

"Oh, and I meant wrestlers on today's roster. Of course stone cold with the right angle could sell mania out.

"Punk sell out mania? He cant even get backstage at madison square garden! Oh snap!....that was just a joke b%*es!

"The problem with john cena is that he has carried the company on his back for years and now people are sick of him."

A fan asked Carlito if he could sell out WrestleMania. Carlito said he could, if it were held in a bingo hall.

Mr. Anderson, his return to Impact next week, Jeff & Karen Jarrett Update, attendance

 

-Mr. Anderson, who did not appear on TNA Wrestling programming since November, will return Thursday episode next in Impact Wrestling.

-The February 24 Impact Wrestling live event in Upper Marlboro, Maryland attracted 1,200 participants, while on 26 February, show in Charlottesville, Virginia attracted 800.

I was in the WWWF, WWF not was that he turned it into something completely different from the fight that I was involved with, number one. And I said so I don't want any part of this Hall of Fame. And then also because that, when say to me?the, because most of the people include me?but those which is not, I will ask, I would say "If you are going to go into this Hall of Fame, would you want to take your children, or do anything, tell me, where you take"them "?". [Drew] Carey, a host belonging to a wrestling Hall of Fame, or refrigerator Perry or Pete Rose or Bob Uecker? these guys were all great guys and I am not against one of them. They were all much to what they did, but they have to do with the fight? So for me, I would be uncomfortable! I would not part any of this kind of Hall of Fame. And, as far as McMahon and I? repair our relationship, I do not think that it is possible. I have myself very clear from the beginning: I totally agree and going against what is it to the fight. »

[Hulk] Hogan is the same for the good of God! Recently, in England, he had the audacity to say that he has called home at Shea Stadium where Zbyszko and I Epuisés! However, he and André [the Giant], just after the show they went, to uh?what arena in White Plains, New York?it is four thousand, they drew only eleven hundred people.

* Sheamus kicks off the show and comes out to a big pop. He begins to talk about WrestleMania 28 but is interrupted by Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler is pulling double duty this week on both shows. Teddy Long ends up appearing and makes Sheamus vs. Ziggler for right now.

* Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler.

* Segment with John Laurinaitis and Teddy Long. Laurinaitis wants an apology for what happened on RAW. Teddy refuses and makes Mark Henry vs. Big Show for tonight.

* Santino Marella defeated Heath Slater.

* Eve Torres comes out and cuts a promo like she did on RAW. Natalya comes out and farts, which leads to a match.

* Eve beat Natalya in a quick match.

* In-ring segment with Cody Rhodes and Big Show. Teddy Long comes out and makes Show vs. Cody for the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 28. Long brings out Mark Henry next.

* Big Show beat Mark Henry with the knockout punch.

* Backstage segment with Laurinaitis, Teddy and David Otunga. Otunga threatens to sue Teddy for pushing Laurinaitis. Otunga vs. Big Show is made for RAW instead.

* Teddy books Drew McIntyre in a match with Justin Gabriel and says if Drew loses, he's fired.

* Justin Gabriel beat Drew McIntyre with the 450 Splash. This time, Teddy appeared on the big screen and fired Drew. Drew actually cried before leaving.

* Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton fought in the main event until Kane's pyro went off and he came down the ramp. Orton and Kane brawled as Bryan escaped. Kane got the upperhand in the ring and chokeslammed Orton. Kane took a mic and stood over Orton, welcoming him back.

WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler spoke with Cleveland.com this week. Here are some highlights:

His first Elimination Chamber match this year: "Yeah, it was my first time. At least that's what I told her. Honestly, that thing is crazy. I like to go above and beyond. I never give less than 100%. But that thing hurt like hell. I tried to sacrifice every ounce of my body to somehow stay in it all the way and ended up coming up a little short. But at least The Miz was out there. So at least he wasn't in a gym or wrestling school somewhere, we know he was in that match."

Changing his theme song: "You know what, I'm out there to give 100% and I do what I think is best. I really don't care what other people think. I know a lot of people like that song. I liked that song. I'm done being perfection. I still do on a day-to-day basis, I just don't need to let everyone know about it. I'm 'Here to Show the World' is simply put, every single night when I go out there, I steal the show. I do what I do best and that's take it away from every one else. And when everyone else goes to Wrestlemania to see Rock vs. Cena, there going to leave knowing I stole the show."

His WrestleMania dream opponent: "Shawn Michaels, 1997. That's someone who could actually hang with me for 60 minutes, Iron Man Match. Let everyone know who is the best ever, not just best in the world who puts it on a t-shirt or shows up for six months a year. But someone on the roster right now, it would be Tyson Kidd. Me and him go out there and tear it up. Show everyone what wrestling is really about. And still make them care. And have them come away knowing that's the best match they have ever seen."

**SPOILER** Details From Tonight's SmackDown About A New Angle

Tonight's WWE SmackDown broadcast has already aired overseas so we have an idea of upcoming storylines.

During tonight's main event of Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan, Kane interrupts and went at it with Orton, causing the match to end in count out. Kane ended up taking Orton out and kneeling over him to say, "Welcome back Randy, welcome back."

SmackDown ends with John Laurinaitis and David Otunga watching backstage. They were impressed by Kane's actions and Laurinaitis teased Kane vs. Teddy Long's girlfriend Aksana for next week when he runs the show.

Regarding the Laurinaitis vs. Long storyline and them switching shows next week, Teddy made David Otunga vs. The Great Khali for Monday's RAW.

It looks as if Kane vs. Randy Orton is set for WrestleMania 28 or the two will be part of the Team Laurinaitis vs. Team Long match.

Triple H Signs New Contract With WWE, Will Wrestle For Four More Years

WWE has published their 10-K report for 2011 and it includes their wrestling contract with Paul Levesque (a/k/a Triple H). The new agreement went into effect January 1, 2012 and expires on March 30, 2016, when he is 46 years old.

Highlights:

* Levesque will be paid a 'Minimum Annual Compensation' of $1 million for each year under contract.

* Levesque will be limited to 180 dates per year, unless both parties mutually agree to extend beyond that number.

* Levesque cannot work or perform in any capacity for any 'martial arts' organization while under contract.

Vince Russo Issues Statement On TNA Departure

Vince Russo was scheduled to participate in an interview with PWInsider next Monday to discuss his departure from TNA Wrestling. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion, however, decided against doing the interview and issued the following statement to the website regarding his TNA departure:

"Despite the continuing rumors, speculation, and hearsay surrounding my departure from TNA Wrestling, in an effort to set the record straight, I was not fired, terminated, released, or let go from the company--it was my decision to walk away, and from there the separation was mutual, amicable and professional.

"It simply makes good business sense that where someone of my talent and ability was not going to be used to their capability or capacity, that a parting of the ways was inevitable.

"In closing, I'd like to thank my fellow writer and friend, Matt Conway, for giving me purpose, my friend and brother, Jeff Jarrett, for hiring me, Dixie Carter and the entire Carter family, for keeping me employed, but, more importantly, every man and woman in the locker room for giving me the opportunity, and ability, to work in the professional wrestling business for the past twenty years. Without their blood, sweat and tears . . . I would have not been able to support my family and make a living. My greatest loss by far is leaving them behind.

"And truly, from the bottom of my heart, I wish TNA all the best in their future endeavors.

-Puddles the duck, the mascot of the University of Oregon, was in action to WWE RAW live event last night in Eugene (Oregon). Puddles of water accompanied by R-Truth to the ring for his match against The Miz. Puddles maintained interfere in the game until John Laurinaitis is appeared and he ejected from the ring.

ROH TV results (2/25): ROH World Championship Match, Champion vs Champion

The show opens with the highlights of TV main event last week between Charlie Haas and Mark Briscoe who sees Jay Briscoe handcuffed to the position of the ring, allowing Charlie Haas to take advantage and hit with a Chair Mark bullet in the head.

Young Bucks against Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman

Solid forth tag team match throughout the first part of the game, including some areas outside the ring. The end of the game saw Alexander missed an attempt to rope, leading both the Young Bucks hit Caprice Coleman with super kicked and ending the game by landing "more Bang for Your Buck" to gain the victory.

ROH World Championship Match: Davey Richards vs Jay Lethal

In a match which saw the champions top of two singles in ROH go to it for the first prize of the ROH, there were several instances in which different members of the dressing rooms ROH came to observe the main event. First was Tommaso Ciampa to get a point of view of his opponent for the Championship of TV in "Young wolves Rising", Jay Lethal. This has led to Kyle O'Reilly out to give support to Davey Richards. The House of truth and then out around the ring to watch, followed by Eddie Edwards and Kyle O'Reilly. All those who came down on the ring to watch the main event finally started to fight with one another. The end of the match saw Jay Lethal hit an elbow drop on Richards that Richards driven out of. Lethal ready to attempt the lethal Injection, but was prevented from hitting the shot when Adam Cole was thrown in Lethal by Michael Elgin of the House of the truth, leading to Davey hit Lethal with a roundhouse kick for victory.

-RAW WWE Supershow of tonight for Portland, Oregon, will feature the return of The Rock on the road to WrestleMania 28. Rock, what happened last night in Portland, will be to call John Cena. Cena will be a very busy day as he will start the race from Daytona 500 in Florida today, time allowing, then fly across the country to prepare for the first release.

No matches have been announced for the tonight show, but the flow Twitter of John Laurinaitis teasing another match between WWE Champion CM Punk and World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. Matches advertised locally include Cena vs Kane and Punk vs Dolph Ziggler.

Triple h is announced for the issuance of this evening, but The Undertaker is not. That night, Triple H should also his plot of WrestleMania 28 with Taker and Shawn Michaels, return to RAW the week show next Boston.

Other names announced for RAW Supershow tonight include Brodus Clay, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Big Show, Cody Rhodes and others.

Rey Mysterio discusses his injury, WrestleMania, Sin Cara & more

Former champion of the world Rey Mysterio was recently interviewed by 1130 AM WDFN: fan and he discussed a number of topics. Subjects included; his injuries, WrestleMania and perhaps Sin Cara. Here are a few highlights:

Of wounds, and fans can look forward to his return to the ring: "In fact, I have suffered injury August of last year." It was an injury to my arm which has just need some time to heal, but my knee was probably the worst with a tear in my ACL and my PCL. Thus, we had to return y and that rebuild. Keep in mind that this is my sixth surgery on my knee, so they took some damage.

"Therapy goes well now." I am trying to see if I can do return to WrestleMania to please my fans [doing] this great event, which everyone is looking forward to a check out. So that's my main objective now; to bring back for WrestleMania. If God gives me the will to return, then I will be back. »

On how massive WrestleMania 28 could be: "Yeah." It could be. With the return of The Rock and The Undertaker vs Triple H - I mean, I was talking about this yesterday evening with my wife. WrestleMania has the big main event which is The Rock vs John Cena who were all eager to see.

"Then we have Undertaker and Triple h. Whenever you see a film and it's good, you want to wait for the second part. Therefore, it is how I am looking at this game now. When I saw this game last year, I was like, "Wow!" Therefore, I am ready to see a part two. »

On the possible match between Chris Jericho and C.M. Punk: "This - without a doubt in my mind - will remember." Both have expectations and high qualifications in the ring. Thus, it not really much that can go wrong. I want to say, so much to go there. »

On maybe to Sin Cara: "Yeah." Everyone wants to see and I am all for it. As soon as everything is ready to go, my knee is ready to go, and I can enter in the ring and move the way I don't know how to do, I am down.

Chris Jericho's Heel Promo In LA, Maria Returns To The Ring, The Flairs

- Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis had her first match since leaving WWE last night at the Family Wrestling Entertainment show in New York. She defeated TNA Knockout Tara in the first round of a tournament to crown the first-ever FWE Women's Champion. Maria later defeated TNA Knockout Winter to become the first champion.

- Reid Flair turns 24 years old today. As noted earlier, his father, the legendary Ric Flair, turned 63 yesterday.

- Chris Jericho received praise for his heel promo at the RAW live event in Los Angeles at the Staples Center this weekend. Jericho spoke in Spanish some during the promo and got the fans so upset that they threw toilet paper at him. Jericho worked the toilet paper into the promo and really worked the crowd. Jericho wrote the following on Twitter: "Let me be clear on this. I don't wanna see any more toilet paper thrown at me in the ring again! It's disrespectful!!"

Shane Douglas talks ECW Revival, ability to speak of Laurinaitis, Hardcore Justice

8 Years ago that we discussed last Shane Douglas at the epicentre of Wrestling here. In an epic interview, lasting nearly 2 hours, Shane turned on everything you can imagine. Here, we are 8 years later... Not much has changed! You should hear the 36 minutes of interview!

Be completely honest, I was not very excited about the show of extreme meeting happening April 28 heading in the interview. I, James Walsh, loved ECW but saw too many meeting shows another highlight. But, my opinion changed when Shane said that the objective is not only to meet guys ECW original but to "relaunch the brand." I would like to see a company with the philosophy of startup ECW and stir until the two companies... After all, is not that the original ECW in the first place? Color that I excited!

We hope that your opinion will change to and you can attend to the extreme of the meeting to the Armory of Philly April 28. Tell Shane that you sent the epicenter!

SHANE DOUGLAS:

-The relief is welcome to promote his new show of ECW in April meeting. He said that so far has been very well. It considers that all the different meeting shows (such as the attempts of WWE & TNA) weakened the mark and expects more difficulty of this show.

-His opinion that shows the attempts of WWE & TNA ECW meeting were insulting and has done a lot of anger & upset fans. However, he found that the real fans of the past to the ECW are excited for what he has to offer.

-He feels that ECW is so affectionately known because he was such a polar opposite to what WWF, WCW, & everything else has been done. Other products were available for children, but not adults, and this is what the ECW was able to do.

-His reaction to the ECW Arena, not used for the fight more: it is not sure if finalized, his but did not try to book the room for one of his shows. He hoped that that decision does not pass and officials aware of what a place of great struggle is. The energy that the ECW captured in this building has saved the world of wrestling in his eyes. Madison Square Garden is often called the Mecca of the catch but to Shane, the ECW Arena.

-Shane is not a fan of WWE or TNA of products, but he wants to do well. He believes that if the catch had several success & strong brands, and then the whole business is successful. Wrestling was at its best when WWF, WCW & ECW were red hot.
